About Vector Brewing

Many people ask what the name means, and it’s a good question.

Vector is one of those words with several definitions, but for us it came from computer files. As a graphic designer, Craig usually worked with Vector art, which was infinitely scalable without distortion. As we got deeper and deeper into plans for our pub, we discovered that we were embracing another definition: directing to a desired point.

Vector’s concept is discovery. We want our friends and neighbors to see and taste what beer and food can be. We want them to be adventurous and try new things, and find something completely new and unexpected. We want people to come together.

Thank you so much for visiting. If you see us around the brewpub, please introduce yourself. We’d love to learn more about you.

Our Team

Craig Bradley, Owner

Craig was one of the four original employees of Lakewood Brewing Company, working there for six years. He was responsible for building the brand from the ground up, as well as some of the actual original building.

He has also worked various positions in the hospitality industry, as well as serving as a creative director at one of Dallas' largest firms. At Vector, Craig handles all things design and marketing, names most of our beers, and helps with a lot of Q/C.

Tomás “Tortuga” Gutierrez, Head of Brewing

In addition to creating some of the crispest, cleanest beers you’ve ever tasted, Tommy is also a master of barrel aging. His expertise with blending mixed culture beers sets him apart, and his creations are some of the most nuanced and balanced examples you’ll find today. His talents are already unparalleled, and his potential is endless.

When he isn’t brewing up you new favorite, he’s probably riding his bike, walking his dog, or hiding toys around the pub.

You have Tommy to thank if you see any John Cena figurines around the taproom.

Veronica

Bradley, Owner

Veronica was raised in and by the hospitality industry. Her dad has been a restaurant furniture sales rep since she was born, often taking her to new construction sites, visiting loyal clients, and teaching her the ins and outs of the hospitality business.

Before opening Vector, she bided her time as an advertising copywriter and creative director, taking photos professionally, and raising two rambunctious kiddos. Now she does all of the stuff at the pub that no one sees, runs this website, and handles events—and still works as an advertising copywriter.

Brittany “Rii” Bryant, General Manager

We’re the luckiest, because Chef Rii found us and joined our Vector family. Her background in baking took our sourdough pizza crust to a level we never knew existed.

After whipping all of us into shape over the last two years, she’s climbed our step ladder to become our first general manager, overseeing both the taproom and the kitchen. If you see Chef (yeah, we still call her Chef), tell her congrats.

She’s also a boss with power tools.
